ROADCHECK 2025 IS COMING – ARE YOU READY?

The Commercial Vehicle Safety Alliance (CVSA) has scheduled its annual International Roadcheck for May 13-15. This three-day event is a large-scale inspection and enforcement initiative focused on commercial motor vehicles and driver compliance across Canada, Mexico, and the United States.

During inspections, officials will review essential driver documents, including licenses, medical examiner’s certificates, and skill performance certificates (if required). They will also check records of duty status, Drug and Alcohol Clearinghouse status (U.S.), seat belt usage, and signs of alcohol or drug impairment. Any driver found with out-of-service violations will be restricted from operating their vehicle.

Additionally, inspectors will conduct thorough vehicle checks, paying close attention to tire conditions, including tread depth, inflation levels, and any damage such as air leaks, tread separation, cuts, bulges, sidewall issues, or improper repairs. Ensure your fleet is prepared to stay compliant and avoid costly downtime.
