“We have reached out to our ELD provider Omnitracs about a user manual needed for our drivers to keep in their trucks. There answer from them was a laminated Cab Card they have issued to all our drivers that point out the information the DOT has asked us to be able to inform to them. My question for you is do you believe a Laminated cab card could be used as the user manual DOT is requesting.”

Without seeing the laminated card, I can’t for certain. However, if Omnitracs is the vendor, and that is what they provide, I’d be pretty comfortable with it, as long as it has instructions that tell the roadside officer how to access/transfer data.
