What are the inspector’s looking for?
In addition to inspecting the vehicle, the NAS Level I Inspection also includes check of the driver’s license, medical examiner’s certificate and waiver, alcohol and drugs (if applicable), driver’s record of duty status (as required) hours of service and seat belt use.

Did you know? Each year, International Roadcheck places special emphasis on a category of violations. The special emphasis for International Roadcheck 2015 is cargo securement.
If you are put out of service, it will cost you $861 on average – which does not include the costs of fins or pairs as a result of the inspection.
